Engineering Dashboards

React dashboards for engineering teams, and the REST contract with the C# services behind them.

Overview

At Hexagon I built interactive React dashboards for engineering teams working with 10K+ data points and cut their render load time by 30%. I owned the integration contract between the React frontend and the C# microservices, redesigning the REST payloads and closing the alignment gaps that had been blocking two product teams. I set the frontend testing standard and code-review bar for the dashboards group, which cut production defects by 20%, and fixed N+1 queries in backend workflows for a 40% faster API.

Problem → built → result

Problem
Heavy dashboards, and an API contract that was blocking two teams.
Built
React dashboards, a redesigned REST contract with the C# services, a testing standard.
Result
−30% render load · −40% API response · −20% defects

What I built

  • Interactive React dashboards for engineering teams processing 10K+ data points, with render load time down 30%
  • Owned the React–C# microservices integration contract: redesigned REST payloads and resolved the alignment gaps blocking two product teams
  • Set the frontend testing standard and code-review bar for the dashboards group, cutting production defects by 20%
  • Found and fixed N+1 queries in backend workflows, improving API response time by 40%

Why it's shaped this way

A dashboard is only as fast and as stable as the contract behind it, so I worked both sides: the payloads the React side needed and the queries the services ran to produce them.
